CB Passive Income 4.0 – Clone the Business Model by Patric Chan – Is it a Scam or Wham Bam Thank You M’am?
What is CB Passive Income 4.0?
CB Passive Income 4.0 doesn’t have a focus on teaching you business methods, but rather a learn by experience introduction to email marketing.
If you are new to email marketing, you can visit my article Email Marketing Basics for an overview.
CB Passive Income 4.0 is a ClickBank certified product providing you with a clone of an email marketing business developed by Patric Chan.
Patric Chan is the best-selling author of WakeUp Millionaire, he’s spoken to audiences in 12 countries as an authoritative figure in the world of internet marketing and has authored several books.
The ready-made business model is a popular option for those wanting a fast-track way to making money online, rather than spending copious amounts of time studying.
The model sends the subscribers to a supposedly ‘secret webpage’ (the hook) that offers them clickbank products. The clickbank products are where you make the money, from a sale you’ll get 50% commission.
The deal is that you don’t have to write any content, everything is created for you, and Patric Chan gets a small bit of your commission along with your membership fee.
CB Passive Income’s membership plans and up-sells:
$1 Trial for 14 days
$47 a month for Fast Cash Series Basic
$47 one-time fee for CB Passive Income License.
$97 (one-time fee) CB Passive Income Pro.
$197 each year for Fast Cash Series.
What you get:

- Free hosting
- Email newsletters
- Auto-reply to emails
- Free gifts to get people to sign up
- Free status reports for purchase tracking
- Custom URLs to send leads to
- You will gain earn each email subscriber for life.
So Patric Chan is offering an I scratch your back you scratch my back scenario. But Patric is getting a much longer and more satisfying scratch, whereas you get a tickle, and wonder where this marriage is going.
It claims to be a passive system where they email the subscribers for you and all you need to do is set it up. There is actually a little more work involved, where you have to generate traffic to the opt in page.
This passive income scheme provides instructions for building an email list and sending the visitors to the squeeze page (where the sale happens). It’s squeeze page/sales page is ready made, comprising all the hook, line and sinkers.
*The material has recently been updated for 2017 and now has a much more attractive and modern design.
They give you two methods for attracting traffic to your website.
- One is done through a number of Soloads, which is internet marketing jargon for internet marketing experts who already have an extensive collection of email lists on a variety of niches.
- The other method is via social media and YouTube video.
It should be said that a fault in the model is that the focus is on driving a sell, rather than building a relationship between you and your subscriber. And a lack of control and creativity over how you are selling is limiting. It also doesn’t teach you to set up a business, but rather access to a marketing scheme where you play a middleman, and the money you make is dependant on how well you sell. Also, the title is quite misleading as it is not a completely passive system, in order to get it completely passive you must upgrade to higher levels of membership.
Building trust with a blog where you provide them with quality information is the best way to go. Of course that requires patience, and a little creativity doesn’t hurt. But that’s not to say that CB passive Income 4.0 doesn’t make you money, a lot of people have had success with it, but this is because of their creativity when marketing the product.
Unfortunately I didn’t have a great amount of time to invest in marketing, so I didn’t make a great deal but I can tell you that I made a surprising £300 with little effort on my 3rd month in with CB Passive Income. If you think you can promote products in a creative way, then do have a go with the readymade money making scheme.
The 14 day trial for $1 lets you try it out, so you don’t have to invest big money to see what it’s like.
